Venue: The Warehouse- Geelong- Having used the Warehouse as one of the first Venue’s from my other styled shoot, I knew I had unfinished business there. I wanted to further showcase the versatility with such an amazing space and blank canvas to create absolutely anything! Going from a dark and moody romance shoot the first time around, I wanted to show off being able to flip the style completely and do something bright and summery. And boy did the Warehouse bring my vision to life. Forever loving this gorgeous blank canvas and the lovely owners Yolanda and Darren.
Decor: Peppa & Peach, Shape Steel- I knew from the get go, that I had to have some of the beautiful styling items that Peppa & Peach had on offer. Their fine and simplistic glass cylinders were a perfect match for the pillar candles that I had lining the inside of the Ceremony aisle. Adding in some stunning glass tealights, as well as the boho chai tables and black main plates, I knew that their styling items would be the icing on the cake to bring my ideas to life. Shannon from Peppa & Peach is always a dream to work with and has such a wide range of gorgeous styling items on offer. For the Styled table, I wanted to steer clear of crowding the table too much as I wanted the look to be feasible and doable for real couples wanting to add some styling elements, whilst still ensuring their guests are sitting comfortably and not confined. Having the gorgeous florals from Lustre Blooms suspended up upon one of Shape Steels matte black frames did exactly that and made for a stunning and creative Centrepiece.
Photographer: Smith & Archer- Ali from Smith & Archer was such an easy choice as a Photographer for this shoot, as I had been following her work for some time and always fell in love with the stories she was able to tell through her lens. And she delivered, as you can see by all the stunning photos above!
Videographer: Paperlion- Levi and Emma, what can I say. Such a beautiful couple to work with. They came in at a later stage of planning the shoot and were so happy and willing to be a part. I didn’t have to give them much direction at all, as they knew exactly what they were doing and how to best capture the shoot.
Hair & Makeup: Makeup by Mia- This lovely lady is not only an incredible makeup artist, but I am lucky enough for her to be my sister in law too, so of course I jumped at the chance to use her skills and talent for this shoot. She knew that I wanted something natural, with a little pop of colour and created a look that was beyond what I had expected. Absolutely flawless execution, and a lovely person to work alongside.
Florist: Lustre Blooms- From my first meeting with Bridgette, I knew that I wanted her to bring my floral vision to life. She is such a kind, lovely, driven and passionate person so straight away I knew that I just had to have her. If you haven’t seen the floral magic that she created for this shoot, I highly recommend that you scroll back up and take a long and hard look. It is just beyond dreamy. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw the semi circle Ceremony installation that she had created. She beyond exceeded all of my expectations.
Signage: The Laser Cutting Studio- The oh so talented Emma from the Laser Cutting Studio created a custom acrylic Welcome sign & some luxe rose gold place cards for our donut favours. Emma was so easy to work with, capturing my ideas to a tee and coming up with these gorgeous pieces. She is my go to, for all things Acrylic as she is so organised, creative and helpful!
Bride's Dress: Soho Bride- What can I see about THAT dress, and the beautiful team at Soho Bride. They were absolute magic to work with, and it took one email for them to pitch me the perfect dress for this shoot. Brides, I strongly recommend you make an appointment to see their range of stunning dresses, you will not regret it.
Stationery: The Little Details - What is it with Emma’s! They are just creative geniuses it seems! Emma from the Little Details created the most stunning and creative menu’s for the styled shoot, and all based on what we had discussed via email. Impressive, huh? I had seen some of her amazing work via Instagram, and what caught my eye most was seeing all the different and creative ideas that she had. She was perfect for this shoot, and her menu’s have to be one of my favourite details from the day.
Rings: Windfall Jewellery- Sarah from Windfall Jewellery has been kind enough to loan out rings for both of my styled shoots. I fell in love with their style, personality and of course their breathtaking rings/ jewellery as soon as I came across their Instagram a while back. Their designs fit in perfectly with the style of my shoot, and add a gorgeous and personal touch to the images that were captured. So very thankful to have been leant such precious and beautiful rings.
Mens Suit & Accessories: Eddyelias Menswear- As soon as I approached the lovely team at Eddyelias, the gorgeous Dani responded very keen to be a part of the shoot. I was so excited, as it can be quite hard for men to find the perfect suit being that there is so much out there for the women, and not so much for the men. Fear not though boys, Eddyelias will provide you with an awesome in store experience, and have such a dapper and handsome range of suits and accessories! They were kind enough to loan out one of their suits and some accessories to us, that tied in perfectly with the summer- inspired style of the shoot.
Beverages: Madame Dry- If you have not yet tried Madame Dry’s range of Lavender & Rose quartz, charged crystal infused sparkling water then you are missing out! We had the pleasure of featuring their deliciously pink rose quartz range on the styled table. It added a nice touch of colour, and tasted amazing! Definitely something that I would want to have to cool me down and calm my nerves the morning of a Wedding!
Neon: Neon Collective- How about that sign? Absolutely stunning addition to the Ceremony backdrop, and looked beautiful against the fairy light curtain feature. Jake and Jess were beyond helpful throughout the process, to even popping in on the day to set up the neon for us. Their gorgeous range of neon signs & custom offers make for a perfect addition to enhance the romance and style of a Wedding or an Event.
Fairy Lights: Memphis Hire- I have worked with Kelly from Memphis Hire quite a few times, so knew from the get-go that I had to have her stunning fairy light curtains as part of the shoot. It really set the tone for romance, and warmth as part of the Ceremony set up I did. Kelly is always so lovely and helpful, not to mention she has an amazing range of hire items!
Furniture: Duckfat/ Velvet Chairs- Velvet, velvet & more velvet please. Velvet was a must have for this shoot, being that it is becoming quite a popular feature for Event and Wedding styling, as well as just adding that luxe look. Darren who runs Duckfat and Velvet Chairs was happy to lend us some of his amazing velvet chairs, which I used for the signing chairs to do something a little different and out there. He was very helpful and kind do deal with, and I urge anyone reading this to stop by his creative and quirky store in Geelong. You will not want to leave without buying the whole store, trust me.
Plant Hire: As Daisy Does- Having used As Daisy Does for florals at my last styled shoot, this time I wanted to think outside of the box and take advantage of the gorgeous range of plants they have for hire. Daisy was so helpful the morning of the shoot, and helped me select the perfect pieces to add to the style of the shoot. This added something different, to accessorise the Welcome sign and add a pop of greenery and colour. I was also lucky enough to be able to borrow some blush pink gas bottle planters from the talented lilgasbowl range at the shop which meshed so well with the rest of the palette I had for the shoot.
Cutlery: Elderberry Event Hire- Orla from Elderberry was an absolute saviour! I contacted her quite last minute, as I was unable to use the original Vendor/Supplier I had in mind for cutlery. Orla was more than willing to help a gal out, and leant me their polished black cutlery which was a true statement piece in the styled table set up and complimented the black main plates perfectly. Brides and grooms, If you are looking for some stunning pieces to add to your Wedding styling, do go visit her website. It does not disappoint!
